Acoustic Graffiti Flash Mob in Tate modern

Using music as a graffiti spray in the contemporary arts museum

WHEN: SAT, 22 Aug 2009 7:00 pm sharp!
WHERE: London Tate Modern, Turbine Hall West Entrance
DURATION: At least 3 min.
ACTIVITY: Play music!
REPERTOIRE: Any classical piece you know.

HOW: Bring any simple music instrument with you. It can be whistle, shaker, harmonica, small drum, etc. a little tiny thing that could be hidden in your pocket or bag. If you don’t have any instrument you can sing, whistle or clap your favorite classical tune.

Show up there at 6:57 p.m., get ready and at 7 p.m. sharp take your instrument out and start playing!

Hint: Be careful: don’t show the music instruments and don’t play before 7:00 p.m., you may be stopped by security. For the same reason, don’t bring professional instruments as they are too big and you will need some time to take them out and get ready. It will attract attention of security. 

Note: Don’t worry if you don’t know how to play music instruments, acoustic graffiti can be done by non-professionals. 

When done simply go in any direction you like!
