Event Date: Sun July 06 2014
On the 6th July 2014 at 12pm Spitalfields Market, London, Macmillan are hosting BollyGOOD!
This event is a world record attempt to beat the record for most people around the world dancing a Bollywood routine simultaneously, It’s in aid of Macmillan cancer support to raise thousands of pounds for an amazing cause.
We have groups that will be dancing with us in Australia, Malaysia, USA, Brazil, Russia and so many other places as well!
Just like the previous year we will post a
2 minute routine on YouTube simple
enough that anyone – regardless of age,
race, gender, or fitness level - can
bhangra, boogie and bop to their heart’s
content. At the BollyGOOD event, we
will have dance captains to teach the
routine and help the more rhythmically
challenged of us. After one or two
rehearsals, we will go for the record.
The whole event, from start to finish,
will take approximately 60-90 mins.
Here is a link to the playlist of videos
from last year
So if you want to have a great experience with friends and family, break a world record and help those affected by cancer and help their families come along at 12pm 6th July to Spitalfields Market (Nearest stop Shoreditch tube!)
