We (3 of us) have done something similar before, when leaving the auditorium of the 02 Brixton Academy. Alan, al al al al al, Alan. We actually got a bunch of people who joined in too.
Absolutely blinking hilarious.
The plan is to meet at Pret a Manger near Marble Arch tube at 12.00 where we’ll have a coffee a chat and, Alan, divide into groups of 3 or so (depending on the numbers, Alan) and place ourselves within ear shot of one another down the length of Oxford St. Al. Then when we are all in position at 13.00 the call will start with ‘Alan’, al, at the Marble arch end.
‘Al’ or ‘Alan’ or ‘al, al, al, al, al, al’ can be called in order, Alan, Mexican wave style, until it reaches the last person or people who call ‘Steve’. Al.
Once that has happened and is quiet again, the last person or people will restart with the ‘Alan’ call sending it back to the start.
