The Ophelia Flashmob!!

The flashmob will take place on 22 May 2011 in Wandsworth Park at The Shimmy event of Wandsworth Arts Festival.
The Shimmy will take place between Putney Wharf and Wandsworth Park and will feature dozens of acts, exhibitions and arts and crafts stalls.
The Ophelia Project, is concerned with celebrating women and empowering women by creating opportunities and inspiring performances. The Ophelia Project would like women from the local community to form a travelling flashmob. Watch and join in this unique expression of solidarity and sisterhood.
The website should tell you everything you need to know about taking part in the flashmob. There is a sign up form for you to officially sign up for the event. If you do have any questions please feel free to get in touch. We are planning to hold an open workshop in May for those that want to take part and learn some moves and technique! We are keen to teach workshops at colleges and community groups - get in touch!!!!
